Located in Sullivan's Island, Fort Moultrie's history covers 171 years of seacoast defense, including the first decisive victory in the American Revolution and the firing onto Fort Sumter during the first battle of the Civil War. Together In Education and Support (TIES) is a free homeschool support group located in the Dorchester, Colleton, Charleston, and Berkley county areas of South Carolina. They operate in a co-op format, so that every member can contribute. This group was established to provide encouragement, guidance, and support to one another as homeschoolers and friends based upon closely held Christian principles.
